The Consumer Law Ready project is a European-wide project managed by BEUC (the European Consumer Organisation) in a consortium with UEAPME (the Voice of SMEs in Europe) and Eurochambres (the association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry). It is funded by the European Union with the support of the European Parliament and the European Commission.
The objective of the project is to assist you in complying with the requirements of EU consumer law.
Consumer Law Ready is a specialist training programme for SMEs, helping them understand and comply with the latest EU consumer laws.
The training programme helps SMEs understand important aspects of consumer law which helps them improve their customer service and increase consumer trust in their business. By doing so, they can avoid any potentially costly litigation and embarrassing customer complaints.
The training, developed by experts, covers all aspects of trading such as pre-contractual information requirements, rights of withdrawal, consumer rights and guarantees in case of non-conforming products, unfair commercial practices and alternative dispute resolutions.
