Caroline McEntee joined the team at Aspire Training, as Manager, in July 2018 and is now the Managing Director. With over 10 years of experience as an Adult Education Manager in the community sector, Caroline specialises in quality training and all aspects of QQI (formerly FETAC). Alongside her position as Adult Education Manager, she worked with Longford Westmeath ETB as a Back to Education Initiative (BTEI) coordinator from January of 2013 until December 2018. Caroline has also taught a variety QQI of modules, taking a particular interest in the delivery of Special Needs Assisting and Disability Awareness over the past 12 years. Other work undertaken over the past number of years has included youth advocacy, QQI internal verification, QQI validation assistance, and training consultancy. Her educational background includes Community Development, Community Youth and Family Studies, and Adult Training and Development. Most recently, Caroline has returned from a study trip to Lisbon having completed a course in ‘The Power of Non-Formal Learning’, a training method she is passionate about and keeps in mind when developing all programmes at Aspire Training. As an advocate for Continuous Professional Development, she has recently qualified as Manual Handling Instructor.
